Shapes (polygons)
Edit polygons (core)
If any polygons need refinement, you can easily make adjustments. Click the polygon you want to adjust (either the map itself or in the left hand side tab) and a set of edit tools will appear. We’ll start with the most common actions.
- To edit the shape of a polygon, click to select the ‘Change’ tool. Then click and hold a point on the edge of the polygon and drag to adjust.
- To edit the position of a polygon, click to select the ‘Move’ tool. Then click and hold anywhere on the polygon and drag to move.
- To edit the rotation of a polygon, click to select the ‘Rotate’ tool. Then click and hold a point on the edge of the polygon and drag to adjust the rotation.
- To edit the scale of a polygon, click to select the ‘Scale’ tool. Then click and hold a point on the edge of the map, drag to adjust the scale.
- Any actions can be undone or redone by clicking the ‘undo’ and ‘redo’ buttons that will appear once actions have taken place.
These actions should cover most of the necessary edits you may need to make, however, if this does not cover your case, see the next section for advanced editing.
